Here at FrithRugs we are always adding to a rug collections and one of our latest additions is the Timeless Collection.

When it comes to describing this stunning range, the name says it all.  These are contemporary rugs that are truly timeless thanks to their grey colour palette, modern textures and artistic pattern.

We're all going grey!

When it comes to interior design, grey is the new white – and here we explain why grey is so popular for homeowners.

Interior designers and us mere mortals are catching on to the fact that grey can work across many design schemes.  It can be contemporary and cool, it can be soothing and relaxing and it can be lively and energetic – it all depends on the shade of grey you choose for your room.

If you like modern then opt for darker shades that add a hint of drama, if your style is more vintage or classic, blue greys will work well and if you want your room to feel relaxed mid tone greys will create the mood.

If you are using grey on the wall or on one wall - as ever - getting the right accessories is key.  As its getting cooler, texture is important to help create a warm and cozy space.  Don’t be afraid to mix and match – so faux fur cushions, velvet throws and a sheepskin rug, like the one shown will mean you never want to leave the house.

If your walls are plain, then add pattern with accessories.  Something from our Machine woven natural collection would add interest on the floor, like this middle rug, while patterned cushions and curtains would make the whole room come to life.

Interior design trends

A new survey by George Home reveals that 95% of people are happy to experiment with bold colours in the home and the age of magnolia and off-white are long gone.  Its three best selling colours are grey, green and blue and so we’ve had a look at some rugs that we think would complement these best sellers.

Going grey?
